Hi, I'm Ian.

Thanks for taking the time to read my profile.

I have previously owned 3 homes ( Sydney and Brisbane)
Married for 30 years (now divorced) and have had dogs, cats and an assortment of other animals, (including farm animals) and I'm quite comfortable caring for reptiles.

Previously worked in commercial radio for many years (Sydney and Hong Kong) holding management positions, along with managing my own handy man business in more recent years.

I have been house sitting homes in the city and rural areas off and on for about 5 years, often caring for acreage/waterfront properties. I'm very familiar with pool care and grey watering systems. I have now decided to continue house sitting in a full time capacity.
I also supply my own sheets, pillows, towels, dish washing and cleaning, laundry, etc.
I am quiet living, sociable, non smoker and enjoy an occasional glass of red. My interests are, bush walking, gardening and sailing.

My references (available upon request) reflect my capability to care for your home and pets in a loving, caring and responsible manner.
I also update you with regular details (including photos) on you home and pets.
I'm also up to date with my Covid injections.

Ian jumped in for a short notice sit. Communication was great from the start, we had a call & meet then updates while we were away. House was spotless when we came back and most importantly our labradoodle Charlie was happy and loved while we were away.

Ian was just wonderful, we could not have asked for a more suitable person to care for our beloved golden retriever or our home. Honest, reliable and a perfect communicator. Our home was in better condition than when we left it. Ian is meticulous. We would hope that he is available next time for us.
