Charles and I are a trustworthy, respectful, reliable and conscientious couple. We are active, non smoking, tidy people who will responsibly look after your home and love your animals as if they are our own, seeking to provide you with security of your possessions, maintenance of your house, garden and pool and take excellent care for your pets allowing them to continue enjoying their familiar environment and routines.
Our aim is to follow your instructions and requests diligently, keep you regularly updated with photos and txts and to do a great job in order for you to return to happy healthy pets and a clean, orderly home.
Over the past few years petsitting we have had tremendous fun meeting many wonderful people, exploring some amazing pockets of the world and experiencing 'life like a local' in a variety of homely settings. Lovers of nature and all animals along with a joy of exploring new places and activities we thrive on giving back rather than sitting back which is mainly why we have found pet/housesitting to be a fulfilling and rewarding exercise while taking break away from our own home. Our interest include hiking, gardening, skiing, diving, photography, painting, reading, writing, singing, cooking, travel, and history.
To date we have gained experience with all sizes of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens, cows, pigs, sheep and even a bearded dragon, and being resourceful and practically minded we are always open to a new challenge. We have excellent references from the UK, NZ and AUS and always welcome any questions by phone. Also we offer a Skype interview or visit prior to the petsit.
Should Charles be unable to travel due to work commitments, Victoria is happy to petsit alone, particularly in South Australia.
Victoria came to my rescue when I had to go interstate for a week at very short notice. She was very conscientious in caring for my home and my little dog.
Victoria was an excellent communicator, and related well to my neighbours in our friendly street. I would welcome Victoria back to my home if/when the need arises again.
Victoria did a great job looking after our 2 high maintenance Siamese cats. She worked out their personalities very quickly and catered to their individual needs.
Although Victoria said she wasn't really a gardener she did a pretty good job of keeping the garden alive.
Communication with Victoria was excellent.

This is the second occasion on which Victoria has cared for our home and pets, and on both occasions we have come home to a spotless house and a happy dog and cat.

Communication with this Housesitter was great. We received frequent photos from Victoria of our happy animals, and the house was clean, tidy, and well cared for while we were away. We would happily recommend them for a future house sit and welcome them into our home in the future.
Terrific House and Dog Sitter. One of our dogs was not well still recovering from a minor operation. Victoria took great care of him and we returned finding both dogs in great shape and full of beans. The townhouse and garden was well looked after and communication was excellent. Lots of great photos. Certainly now our preferred house sitter.
We had a wonderful experience with Victoria & Charles. They looked after our house and cared for Lesley so well. They were incredibly responsible, caring and the communication at all times was great. Victoria was the perfect house sitter for us. She looked after our house and pets without any hassles and even sent pictures of the pets relaxed and having fun whilst we were away to assure us. Victoria looked after our house and dog Rocket for a week while we took a short break. Victoria was a fantastic house sitter and provided regular text updates while we were away including lots of photos. She had to deal with a few last-minute changes but everything went very smoothly and Rocket seems to have a great time. We came home to a very neat and clean house which was much appreciated. We had Victoria house sit for us while we were interstate. We were very impressed with her care of our little Kensi. Victoria focused on making friends with Kensi immediately which is a real confidence booster for us before we headed off. She contacted us several times to report progress and activities, we were confident Kensi was well cared for. Victoria and Charles have been the perfect house sitters and we are so thankful to have found them. We meet them the day before we went on our holiday to give them instructions on feeding and looking after our animals which consist of 1 dog 2 cats 90 chickens 2 cow 14 sheep and 2 pigs.
