We're both retired, travel extensively in our caravan, which is also our home. We both have over 20yrs of involvement with the CFA, Nev is a qualified mechanic & truck driver, I worked in childcare for 30yrs.
We have been house sitting for over 7yrs which has involved caring for a variety of animals from dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, chickens, sheep, alpaca's, cattle, pig's, donkeys & horses we have also done quite a number of farm sits. We've also had a huge variety of our own pets, over the years, dogs, cat, budgies, caneries, ducks, guinea pigs, fish, chickens, rabbits & ferrits. We treat your pets with the utmost care & respect & treat them as if they are our own. We like to communicate with you while your away with regular updates & photos to let you know that all is going well & you will then feel at ease. We're non smoking, happy to do light gardening, mowing & your home will be treated with the utmost care & respect & will be left clean & tidy.
We only require space for our 21 ft van.

This was my first experience with Aussie House Sitters and I was extremely happy with the stay. Trish and Nev were extremely adaptable and skillful in coping with the unexpected and caring for Tilly's needs. I highly recommend them as they showed such consideration and kindness towards both me and Tilly.
We had Trish & Nev for a 2 week sit. Jack our kelpie was extremely well looked after as were our farm animals. House spotless. Came home to soup and scones which were appreciated. Highly recommend Trish & Nev as house sitters.
Trish & Nev came with exemplary references and from our perspective, richly deserved. We are fastidious about our labs(2) in the feed and exercise regime and came home to happy welcoming dogs . Our 1 year old puppy took a liking to our chooks (4) and they arranged a barricade to protect them. The house was clean and neat and everything in order. We have no hesitation in recommending them and hope that they will consider sitting for us again.
The first time we arranged a house sit with Trish and Nev they had some car problems and then we had some Covid problems but throughout it all Trish and Nev kept us up to date with what was happening so that we could make good decisions about our changes in plan. Trish & Nev recently sat for us. They are a delightful couple and were very kind & caring sitters for our spoilt dogs. They managed some unexpected extras as we had baby chicks & ducklings. It was no bother for them & everything was well looked after. Trish and Nev were brilliant! We were able to totally relax while away knowing that our home and all our animals were being taken care of with the greatest of care. Our house was cleaner than when we left, we received text messages with photos of our animals who were all cared for and happy, our garden was maintained and we had home cooked date loaf to enjoy when we arrived home. We highly recommend Trish and Nev and will certainly keep in touch with them for more sits.
We had Trish and New stay at our home for 3 weeks over summer. They had care of our two little rabbits and they did a wonderful job. They were easy to communicate with, respected our wishes, and we came home to beautifully clean house and well kept yard. Not to mention a plate of muffins! Would highly recommend and would quickly have them back.
We booked Trish and Nev for the above dates for 2020 but in view of the Covid pandemic we had to postpone our travel. We stayed in touch and engaged them 6-8 November. Their care of the house and our animals was great with those extra touches which make all the difference. Spotless house and fresh muffins welcomed us home. Our communications were good and we felt comfortable to leave everything in their hands. I would recommend Trish and Nev as your next house sitters.
Trish & Nev exceeded our expectations as first time users of such a service. They communicated very well before the planned stay, and every appropriate detail was discussed. Trish and Nev were fantastic!! Our house, rabbit, dog and garden were exceptionally well looked after!! Their communication was great and we felt completely at ease throughout our holiday. On our return home the house was sparkling and garden looked better than when we left!
Trish & Nev were completely wonderful housesitters. They looked after our property with two dogs, two cats and 4 fish. Our pets were so happy and content after we got back from 2 weeks on holiday. Trish and Nev looked after our home for 10 days and proved to be practical and competent looking after acreage and stock. We felt completely comfortable leaving them in charge of the property and gardens as well as our dog, sheep, alpacas and chickens. Trish & Nev are AMAZING! Not only were they trustworthy, kind and caring people, they eased my mind when using house sitters for the first time. Their sit started off on shaky ground as our hot water played up however they were very forgiving and assisted with sorting it out. Trish and Nev were amazing Housesitters, who went out of their way in the care of my pets and my rather demanding garden, They were extremely friendly and caring and nothing was too much trouble.
