Hello....homebody, caring & capable single woman, happy to care for your pets, and home, I have a genuine interest in all animals, their care & well being. I'm happy to generally help out with usual housesitting requirements as you've advertised, I am a clean & tidy person, & enjoy clean accomodation, non smoker, tidy & respectful in the care of home owners property, I never invite any other people into the home I am looking after! I enjoy the outdoors , I am happy to do lawn mowing, any/ all types of mowers large areas ok, also pool maintenance, salt water/ chlorine. I have references from previous sits, which are attached to my profile, I look forward to hearing from you. Jeanette was a lovely sitter - Gizmo was in her arms within a few minutes of meeting her! Communication was great, we got updates from Jeanette on our little guy and even thought this was a short stay she made sure she understood everything he needed before we left. House was clean and tidy on our return. All in all a great sit experience - highly recommend Jeanette. Thank you for making this short break possible for us. x

Jan is very meticulous with house and pet care. Unfortunately she had to leave the house earlier due to health reasons. We had a friend arrange a handover and the housesitter we found to take over. Jan left the house and cats in perfect condition. She had my friend take photos of everything to sent to us.
Jeanette will always be welcome back to house sit for us. We had a burst kitchen pipe while we were away and she was all over it. She reacted to the situation brilliantly and knew exactly what to do. She was then available for our insurance company and their builder to come and assess the damage. We felt very safe knowing she was in control of the situation.
We had one of our cats pass just prior to leaving for our 5 week trip and Jeanette was lovely and caring for our remaining cat ... MOREJeanette will always be welcome back to house sit for us. Jeanette (Jan) did a wonderful job looking after our dog and our house while we were away. We got updates and photos of Pip which was great. Our house was spotless and very tidy when we got back. Jeanette had also tried to revive our collection of neglected pot plants with a fair degree of success! Highly recommend Jeanette, she is a homebody who will look after your pets and house with great care, she is very quick to respond to communication too.

Jeanette may be suitable for some sits where the house owner doesn't have time to get to know her. She asked to come early, knowing there would be an overlap of her arrival and our departure. She was duly accommodated and provided everything she asked for. She has no hesitation in using other people's tools/equipment or looking through private areas of the house / cupboards. Wanting to turn our property into a fortress with windows covered with towels and insisting that the driveway gates be ... Her argumentative nature and propensity to snoop dissolved the sit before it had even begun. She left her flat door and the gates wide open the evening she decided to leave. She was a total mis-fit for our sit.

My job is to care for animals, ensure property security, keeping gates closed / locked, maintain garden, keep house clean, but once there Told a cleaner would come in, gardener would come in, whenever they wanted

Jeanette was a fantastic sitter for our time away. Pets well loved, house immaculate on return, pots and our garden watered and cared for and communication throughout our time away. We have no hesitation welcoming Jeanette back or recommending her.

She was flexible re COVID lockdowns etc.

Jeanette maintained regular contact with us via text with photos of the fur babies. You could tell how well cared for they were & how happy they looked in every photo. Our home was spotless when we arrived home - fresh milk in the fridge, the lawns had been mowed, all of our plants & pots had been fertilised (as Spring had sprung.) Jeanette planted a bowl of grass for the dogs to eat as well (they love eating grass) !! Thank you so much Janette.... for everything ! You made what started out as being a very stressful decision to engage a house sitter into such a positive experience. We feel like you're part of our family now too :) The fur babies were so well taken care of - we just can't thank you enough. Our little anxious one seems a lot calmer since you've been here too. Janette recently house and cat sat for us. She loved the tranquillity of our place, and responded by taking very good care of our cats, learning all their foibles. The house she was very conscientious about looking after. Not only that, but she did the lawns and many other tasks well and truly above the call of duty.

Jeanette Coleman housesat for me in Dubbo NSW for about 5 weeks in October-November 2016. She looked after my Jack Russell and 2 chooks as well as a large yard. She is a lady of very forthright views in particular with regards to animal management. For example she used her own initiative to make changes to my chook yard to provide additional shade for them during hot weather.
