I'm a former government worker (now retired) from Canberra and love that housesitting gives me the opportunity to experience different environments and regions of Australia. I love animals and have been a long-standing carer of 2 dogs and a macaw bird.

I love that I have the opportunity to travel and care for people's pets and homes while they are taking a long needed holiday or are away. I'd be happy to have a conversation with home-owners prior to engagement so that they can decide whether I am a match to their requirements. I understand the enormity of trusting your pet and home to someone you don't know, so don't hesitate to call to have a chat in the first instance to see if I am a good fit. Jean

Jean was a fabulous house sitter and we will definitely ask her to house and pet sit for us again. Jean was great to communicate with and she visited Maleny before the sit to meet Boo. Jean sent us regular updates and videos of our boy which was nice when we were overseas. Jean kept our home immaculate, it was so tidy and well kept on our return. We have nothing but good things to say about Jean and her housesitting stays for us, Jean has looked after our house and our cavoodle for 2 periods so far, 4.5 weeks in August last year and for 3 weeks in February just gone. Our Lizzy loves her, she was walked every day, the house was spotless on our return, we received lots of photos and videos in communications and we found the lawns mowed when we got home. Jean is one of the loveliest people you could ever meet, from the moment we met her we were wholeheartedly convinced she was perfect for our assignment. She kept our home immaculate and cared exceptionally well for both our pets Tillie and Elvis. We were super pleased when we returned home and seen how much care had been taken of our home. Can't recommend Jean enough.

We could not have had a better experience with Jean. We have elderly dogs who needed much care, medicine, pampering and slow walks in a trolley and Jean cared for them so well. She also looked after all of our house needs, from collecting mail, taking delivery of parcels, putting bins out and cleaning and maintaining our home. Jean was absolutely amazing - she coaxed our very shy cat out and became firm friends (a first!!) & sent regular updates. Her communication was outstanding and we returned to an impeccably tidy house. I can't imagine a better house sitter.

I found Jean to be a beautiful person with an amazing energy. I went in holidays knowing our home and animals would be safe and loved. Jean sent photos most days with updates on our animals. We came Home to a beautiful clean home complete with a little thank you gift... I only hope if we go away again I would be lucky enough to have Jean again ☀️

Jean was lovely - It was obvious that she really looked after the dogs and enjoyed long walks with them every day. She even walked them for us when we returned from our trip so we could get bags in and unpack. Jean even thoughtfully left us some home cooked Gyoza so we didn't haver to cook any dinner and left a thoughtful card. The house was spotless as well . It was a pleasure to look after little Hector. He loved his walks. Victoria's home was comfortable and nicely located.
Jean very promptly offered to help us out when our sitter became ill and had to leave. She is friendly and easy to talk to. We conversed via Facebook Messenger and she sent us reports, photos and videos of Benji & Chino. Benji was walked daily and taken for a swim most days. Our mower wouldn't start, so she borrowed a neighbour's mower and mowed the grass twice during the sit. The house was neat & tidy on our return and our pets were happy & healthy.
