72, Retired handy man/carpenter

Hi, I'm a 72 year old Australian retired handyman/carpenter/truck driver & traveller & non-smoker.
I have varied housesitting/pet sitting experience, mainly through word-of-mouth recommendations, looking after dogs, cats and parrots, fish, cattle & horses.
I have a current Police Check & a Working With Children Check.
I grew up on a dairy farm with all kinds of animals and have worked as a carpenter, a sales rep, truck driver & even a postie. Also ran a small Cafe in the 1970s.
I get along well with animals & they like me as well.
I'm a non-smoker.. and only an occasional beverage & rarely more than 2 alcoholic beverages in a week.
I've not long returned from an extended trip to visit family overseas.
I'm a very neat and tidy person.
I have good references as well.
Call me for a chat & if close enough, a meet up will certainly put you at ease.

We would highly recommend Gary! His communication was excellent before and during the sit. We received lots of photos of our dogs out and about enjoying life and when we arrived home the house was spotless and the dogs were completely happy and satisfied. Everything we could have asked for!

Gary was an awesome house sitter. Communicated really well and sent lots of photos of my cats , dealt with my anxiety about being away from them and looked after the house perfectly. I highly recommend him for your housesit. The cats loved him too! Thanks Gary!
