We are a retired couple, Linda having been a Registered Nurse/Midwife and Rick having been a Plumber/Gasfitter, based in Springwood, Queensland, Australia. Before retirement, we had house sitters ourselves for over the past 20 years. We have just started travelling after retirement in our caravan but like to spent time away from it and love housesitting to get our fur people time. We have always had cats and dogs. Our last old fellow passed away a few years ago and we miss them dearly. We would love to have the opportunity to care for your pets as they were our own. We both love puttering in the garden. Linda and Rick are the perfect housesitters. Communication was excellent and they met with us to introduce ourselves and Lola and on our day of departure they suggested they arrive at 5:30am as we had a flight to catch and they wanted to be there before we left. Lola connected with them both straight away which is always reassuring. Our unit was left clean and tidy and we couldn't ask for more. Gold standard housesitters.

Linda and Rick were fantastic as usual. They were sitting during the Christmas and New Year storms we had on the Coast and lost power for days. They were amazing throughout this challenging time and cared for the house beautifully. Rick cleared up the grounds of all the debris. They stayed an extra night for us as we were flooded in where we were staying.
Gizmo our cat was cared for and spoilt. I have no hesitation leaving our animals in their care.

We are super happy with Linda and Rick. They put us at ease from the start and we were happy to leave them with our precious bundles.
Linda always replied to our texts quickly which made us feel comfortable knowing everything was cared for and OK while we were away.
They took such great care of our 4 dogs, cat and our home and we will invite them back again soon. I'm sure the animals will be happy to see them again.
