We are a family of 4 with my wife, myself and our two sons (10 and 7 years old). We are both psychologists, I have a PhD in social and organisational psychology and am currently working as a lecturer at the University of Melbourne. My wife has a Master's degree in Developmental and Educational psychology and works as a Student Wellbeing Coordinator at a secondary school.

Most of all, we are family people. We are an open and loving family, who enjoy spending time together, exposing our children to different experiences and stimulating their curiosity and love for all things nature. We love getting out and about, travelling and experiencing new things. Our boys are energetic, smart and well behaved, we bring them up with a clear sense of respect for the world around them. You will find us to be reliable, honest and trustworthy guests. We have over fifteen years of experience in house sitting and we have only received positive reviews. We have been requested to come sit again by owners a number of times. We don't smoke and we have police clearances, should you require.

We live in Melbourne, but we like to spend the school holidays in places where we can retreat, unwind and spend some time together away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We prefer access to outdoor areas such as exploring rocky beaches, going hiking, visiting national parks and in general enjoy a great scenery.

In our previous travels we have house sat often, including taking care of pets and farm animals (horses, cows, alpacas, goats, sheep). Between us, we have had all sorts of animals ourselves in the past (cats, dogs, rabbits, chooks, my wife is an experienced horse rider). We have no pets in our current home, so we are more than happy to take care of yours. They will receive lots of love and attention since we have been missing out!

We would happily take care of your gardening too. At home we have a large backyard with a greenhouse, compost bins and a couple of fruit trees so we don't mind getting our hands dirty on a longer sit.

What a beautiful family! Saskia and her family were an absolute delight. they made the time to come and meet with us well in advance of our holiday, we received regular updates on our home and pets while we were away, and we returned to house that was in immaculate condition. Our house was undergoing some renovations at the time, but this did not seem to be a problem for them and they took excellent care of the place. We returned to some very happy animals!! We would highly recommend them.

Said and Sas Sky were our house sitters for the last two weeks. They and their lovely two boys were amazing. The animals were looked after so well, they even washed our little mini. They brushed all three horses and gave them lots of attention. Our dogs were well cared for too, getting lots of walks every day. We got regular photo and video updates of our babies which really helped us to relax on our trip. We came back to our house looking spotless. Even flowers in vases. We can't thank them ... MORE

No rating I cannot recommend Said and Saskia enough. It was such a weight off my shoulders to be able to head off and know the farm was in safe hands. They kindly came a day before the sit began so I could brief. There was a lot to do and they did it all. They went absolutely above and beyond one night - one of my cows calved and they herded the cattle into the yards on their own and helped the vet - all in the pitch black and pouring rain. No rating Said, Saskia and their two little boys house sat and looked after our cat during Christmas /New Year 2017. They are a lovely caring family. It is unfortunate that our cat is very nervous around small children. We had hoped that he would relax with a family that obviously enjoy animals. It was wonderful to get back to a beautifully clean and tidy house. They communicated well with us leading up to and during their house sit.
