Hello, our names are Rose-Mary and David and we are both retired school teachers and have each been in the teaching profession for over 30 years. We've been housesitting for about 10 years and loving it. We set high standards of presentation with our own home and those that we care for. We are both a non-smoking and non-drinking couple. We are handy around the home and garden, have cared for acreage, suburban properties and apartments/units (including small pets and pool/spa care). Cuddling up with cats is our specialty!

We are more than happy to meet with you in person prior to the housesit dates.

We pride ourselves on being technologically minded as we like to keep our home owners up to date with pet photos, regular updates and information via email, texts, Facebook etc. We will happily address your preferred method of communication.

We are a trustworthy and a mature couple and our overall aim is to meet the needs of our home owners including your precious pets.

You can rest assured that your time away will be all the more relaxed knowing that your home and pets are our highest priority, offering you peace of mind. We look forward to hearing from you.

You could not get better sitters than Rose-Mary and David! We left on our holiday certain that our home and cat were in good hands and would be well looked after. They were extremely organised, with all necessary information required by them requested via a form which was to be filled out by us prior to our departure. Rose-Mary and David are the ultimate in housesitters. Having seen their years of experience in housesitting we were comfortable leaving our two cats and Sydney home in their hands. Rose-Mary was prompt and friendly in her initial communication, we then had a lengthy Skype chat prior to confirming the sit. I recently had the pleasure of Rose-Mary and David house-sitting for me for four weeks while I was away with work. I felt very comfortable having Rose-Mary and David looking after my home while I was away. On my return, the house was perfectly clean and tidy, lawns mowed, and a clean pool. There was a lovely bowl of fresh fruit and flowers on the table, along with some fresh bread, milk and homemade Chocolate Browie's. Rose-Mary and David are the best house sitters imaginable. They responded immediately to my messages, met with us twice before the sit and had thought of absolutely everything. As soon as we walked into our house on our return I could see how spotlessly clean it was. We were then greeted by a plate of fruit, nuts, flowers and loaf of fresh bread on the bench and there was even a lovely casserole in the fridge for our dinner that night. No rating We were lucky to have Rose-Mary and Dave look after our property for 3 weeks while we were away. We couldn't have chosen a nicer couple and felt totally comfortable with them at the helm. We came home to a spotless guest suite and the garden well cared for and the lawn mowed, They even left us a lovely note, chocolates and flowers. I have already provisionally booked them for Feb 2019.

Very helpful, considerate, and treated our home maybe even better than we do, and that's a huge recommendation as our home is always neat clean and tidy. No rating David and Rose- Mary looked after my house and cats for the third time and I cannot recommend them highly enough. My cat Cfer is a senior cat and I know he really enjoyed all of the attention that was lavished on him. They were very thorough in asking if I had any special requirements during their stay and followed everything to a tee, including specific plants in the garden that needed watering attention.
