We are two retired guys who own a property on the Gold Coast and have rented it out for a couple of years to drive around Australia.
We would love to house and/or pet sit for other people on the way while they enjoy their time away.
We have rented houses around NSW and Qld and have always treated them as if they were our own as is testament by the excellent references we have been given by the Property managers, and this is the way we would look after any properties that we are lucky enough to sit.
We have had extensive experience with both domestic animals...cats, dogs, birds etc. after having owned all of these at some stage...as well as farm animals after owning acreage in NSW and Qld.
We are both extremely clean & tidy people, non smokers and like to ride push bikes, play tennis and go to sporting events like AFL, Rugby League, tennis etc.

I cannot speak highly enough of this energetic pair. They went above and beyond the call of duty when looking after house and garden and my dog adored them to the point where I was starting to become jealous. I am very happy to recommend them as fabulous house and pet sitters

Barry and Kevin did an amazing job looking after our house and pets. We had 2 chickens and a very active 3 year old blue heeler. They happily met our dog before agreeing to house sit and sent us lots of photos of our friends whilst we were away. We were blown away by how immaculately clean our house was on our return. Barry and Kevin were the perfect housesitters. They communicated often and we knew that our Maltese shitzu Lily was being thoroughly spoilt. The house was left in a clean and tidy condition. There was no area that we could fault Barry and Kevin's house sitting capabilities. They were also very amenable to work around some changes to our itinerary both before and immediately following our trip. This is the first time we had used Aussiehousesitters and we were extremely happy to return to our home with a very happy dog, an immaculate clean home with the added touch of flowers and great regular communication and photos of our dear 2 year old dog. Kevin and Barry were very prompt at communicating with me before and during their stay. We received photos of Piper regularly. The house and garden where immaculate when we returned, there weren't even any leaves around the property - which is amazing with the number of gum trees around. Would definitely ask them back.

Barry & Kevin are house & pet sitting pros. So relaxed, yet so attentive. They made everything easy as. Our pets were well looked after and relaxed and the house was immaculate! They even stripped and remade the bed for our return! So thoughtful and appreciated after a long day of travel. We cannot recommend B&K highly enough and only hope they are still in the pet/house sitting business when we next get to travel.

They took exceptional care of all of our animals, the dogs were walked and kept busy, the cats who normally ignore strangers were enraptured, chooks kept laying and the horses were spoiled, taken out of the paddock for fresh pickings. The house was beautifully clean, can't recommend them highly enough.

It was our first time using Aussie House Sitters and Barry and Kevin looked after our house with no issues. We came home to a clean and tidy house, and we would use them again if they were available. Communication was easy and they provided extra documentation that we asked for, prior to the house sit. We can highly recommend these two honest and personable gentlemen for your next house sit.

Barry & Kevin, looked after our property for a month. They did a great job, watering veggie plot, feeding and watered all animals, walked dogs and left our house spotless for us when we came home, and a lovely bunch of fresh flowers. They are very easy to communicate with and talk to, we thoroughly enjoyed meeting them and handing everything over to them. Would highly recommend them anytime, and they are certainly welcome back here.

From the beginning, they were prompt and friendly with their communication and I felt comfortable leaving my precious animals and home with them. While I was away, they kept in touch and sent photos.
