43, Occupational Therapy student

Hi, my name is Emma and I'm 43. I'm a fourth year Occupational Therapy student at the University of the Sunshine Coast.

I am looking for housesits around Sunshine Coast whilst I finish my degree. I am available from mid June '23 through to November '23. I work casually approx 20 hours per week, and will be in uni classes approx 10 hours per week, so housesits with pets that are ok to be home alone for short periods are best suited for me.

I have a lot of experience in housesitting and minding dogs, cats, chooks and birds. I've also had many pets of my own. I'm a clean and tidy person and like to treat your home and pets with the same care I'd expect for my own. I have a current National Police Certificate, and can also provide references.

I'm a non-smoker, therefore unable to housesit for people who smoke indoors.

We felt confident leaving our home and pets in Emma's care after she took the time to meet us and our pets on two occasions, including joining us on our dogs favourite beach walk to familiarise herself with his routine. Emma was compassionate with our unexpected circumstances, and while we were away her communication was great. Emma was amazing !!! First time using Aussie house sitters and stoked to say we found the best house sitter possible, Emma looked after our two dogs for 10 days, walked and fed them :) house was immaculate when returning Emma is also great at communicating would definitely recommend her to anyone wanting a house sitter Xx

Emma was a great sitter. Percy and Cleo were happy and settled and Cleo was well exercised. I could enjoy our 3 weeks of holiday without needing to stress about the pets or the house which was a huge relief. I'm just sad she doesn't live locally so we can't get her to sit all the time!

What a great find Emma was. We met her a few days before we went away and she watched while Charlie had her injection. She was comfortable giving her the injections. Upon return, house was well looked after and Charlie was on very loved dog. We are hoping to have her house sit again when we go away and would not hesitate to recommend her. Lovely lovely person.

Our dog unfortunately became unwell while we were away and she went to great lengths to take care of him and nurse him back to health. No rating Emma was great. Much enthusiasm about many things; lively and engaging (and with the cats as well) (got a few cute photo-texts while we were away). We returned to find the house scrupulously clean, litter trays refreshed, etc. We would have her back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

No rating Emma looked after my home for two weeks and wow what a great job she did. There wasn't any dramas or issues and she left the place neat, tidy and very clean. While I was away, Emma checked in with me a few times, which i appreciated and sent me a pic or 2 of Milo, nice touch. Emma really made an impression with my neighbours and i can not recommend her highly enough. If I was looking for a house sitter i would call Emma!

No rating Emma house sat for me for 3 weeks in November 2017. It went like a dream from my end. The first day saw a plumbing problem and emma was able to get right on top of it immediately. Not long after, Otto my schnauzer looked like he may have copped asnake bite, and it required a quick race to the vet. no problems for Emma, had it all under control in a flash.
