We are a retired professional couple from Shellharbour area in NSW. Note - we are NOT part of greater Sydney and are not anywhere near any current covid 'hotspots' . We love travelling & visiting friends in other towns - mostly in NSW, Qld & Victoria.
We have kept many pets over the years, though we don't have any now, so that we can travel.
We don't mind caring for most pets in places we might stay.
Don enjoys gardening & doesn't mind caring for gardens in places we visit.
We are both non-smoking & only have a very occasional drink.
We can provide written & telephone references from friends & from professional people.
We have both had police checks [which we have passed!] - Julie as a schoolteacher and Don as a volunteer chaplain at the local Aged Care village.

Don and Julie were great housesitters. They were great communicators and looked after 3 dogs and some chickens. The house was lovely and clean/tidy on our return and everything was perfect. We highly recommend Don and Julie and would be very happy to have them house-sit again.

Don and Julie looked after our house for 9 days. They kept in touch with us regarding our pets and property. They were good house sitters. Very respectful of our house. Don wanted to meet us before we left and to personally say goodbye when we arrived home. He was a great communicator and very honest. Thank you both for looking after our pets and home. We were very comfortable you being here.

It was our first time using Aussie House Sitters and Don & Julie made us feel at ease leaving our house and cats in confidence. We were contacted with 48 hours with an up date and on return our house was left very clean. Highly recommend this lovely couple .

We chose Don and Julie to look after our little rescue cat and our home whilst we took a well earned break. Our home and garden were well looked after. Lily, our cat, became quite comfortable with both Don and Julie. Whilst we were away Don let us know how Lily was doing for which we very thankful and made for a stress free holiday. We have no hesitation in asking Don and Julie to housesit for us again....should they be available! We highly recommend Don and Julie.
