Hello!
My name is Mindy and I'm a responsible, active and non-smoking housesitter committed to keeping your pets content and your home in excellent condition while you're out of town.
Experience:
Upon returning to Australia after living abroad, I housesat with my dear friend Belinda for 2 years before the Covid pandemic hit and we were forced to rent. Now that things have settled down, I'm excited to return to housesitting and enjoy some much-needed animal companionship!
A little about me:
I completed my Honours in Behavioural Science (Psychology) in late 2021 and am currently working as a research assistant and tutor at QUT, Kelvin Grove. I'm a self-proclaimed homebody who enjoys the quieter things in life. I like keeping fit with friends, journaling at cafes, curling up with a book and dabbling in crafts and design.
I also love being outdoors and will gladly take your pup for regular walks, and tend to your garden as required. I also have my own car and enjoy taking my new furry friends on outings.
Looking for:
I am looking to house sit homes primarily in Brisbane to remain close to work. I am lucky to have some flexibility when it comes to working from home if your pets need extra companionship. Please note though, my ability to WFH does depend on the projects I'm currently involved in.
While I will mostly be sitting on my own as Belinda has now become a homeowner(!), should your pets require extra assistance, I may be able call upon her or our mutual friend and Aussie House Sitter Denise (when available) for a helping hand.
I see house sitting as a great privilege. Your trust is important, and I want to assure you that your home will be treated with care and respect, and your pets as if they were my own. I also provide daily updates with photos/videos to help put your mind at ease so you can fully enjoy your time away.
Police check provided upon request and if you would like any more information please don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you kindly and I hope to hear from you!
