There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
I've worked as a journalist for numerous news organizations around the world. My longest tenure was with CNN as an editor in Hong Kong, where I covered numerous global stories including the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami and the 2011 Japanese earthquake.
I've also worked for The Australian newspaper in Sydney and the Herald Sun newspaper in Melbourne.
I was born in the Australian coastal city of Wollongong, and was an original member of one of its most beloved 1990s bands, the Merry Widows. I've also just recently published my first book of short stories on Amazon.
When not in Australia or travelling internationally (I'm sometimes commissioned by Australia's largest travel publication, Escape, to write articles of destinations I visit), I can be found hanging out in Hong Kong.
I'm super clean, reliable, organized and trustworthy, and an animal lover comfortable in taking care of dogs or cats (though I usually avoid Tasmanian Tigers and Bunyips). I'm also a non-smoker.
