A little family making big adventures!
After running an Airbnb from our home for 2 years, we rented it out in 2018 & house sat locally (to save for a lap around Australia in 2020). We have now returned to house sitting during school holidays.
We love to show our children (aged 12 & 15years) that home can be anywhere & create memories, bonds, self esteem, courage, appreciation & empathy & collect experiences instead of material possessions.
Currently, Adam works 4 days, cooks our dinners & does the washing, then he's an avid fisherman with vast local knowledge on what's biting what. I work casually in disability support & am a contract Architect, I help at school & enjoy baking healthy home made snacks, sewing & gardening.
We are both very handy & work together on household duties & involve our children, teaching them pride for their belongings & respect for the property of others.
We will take care of your home, belongings, space & pets (experienced pet palliative carers) as though they were our own. We are quiet, keep to ourselves, non-smoking & love a healthy active lifestyle.
We look forward to all the house sitting opportunities that await us.
Police checks & plenty of references are available.

Amandah and her family were great house sitters, our priority was to have our dog looked after, hes a big dog and high maintenance. He was cared for, taken out and exercised, and even taken for excursions to the beach! The house was very well looked after, and we returned home to a clean house and the basics in the fridge(bread, milk etc) We were sent updates on how the dog was, and always felt comfortable that the house was in good hands, would highly recommend Amandah, Adam , Tully and Willis ... It was fantastic to have Amandah looking after our house, garden and pets while away. She kept the water up to thirsty plants during summer and looked after our poultry beautifully. She also left samples of all the goodies she had made from garden produce - basil pesto, plum jam, avocado ice cream. We would love to have Amandah and family house sit for us again.

Amandah, Adam & their lovely children Tully & Willis were great people to take care of our home and fur babies while we were away for a couple of weeks. Amandah sent pics regularly to show us our dogs were happy and safe, they took one of our dogs to the vets when needed, we so appreciated the loving care they showed our pets in our absence. We also have horses they cared for. We would highly recommend this lovely family for any house/pet sit, you won't be disappointed.

WOW, how lucky was I to find Amandah and Adam on this site.....and local to Albury too! We were able to meet long before the sit and they even called a few times to ask if they, together with their children, could collect my 3 Whippets and take them for a walk! I knew then that Amandah and Adam were the perfect fit for me.
