About me:
Reliable, experienced caring and considerate pet & house sitter. Non-smoker. . Local to the Illawarra.

Allow me to look after your pets and plants including: cats, dogs, chooks and other small animals, while you are away so you can relax and enjoy your holiday worry free.

You can feel confident in the knowledge your pets will have plenty of company and be able to stick to their usual routines as I am studying online and spend time at home most days and evenings.

If you have an active dog I will ensure it gets out for some fun and regular exercise as well.

Being intuitive and empathetic I am good at tuning in to animals and gaining their trust early on, even those who are quite nervous at first.

Of course I will take very good care with your home and possessions, keeping your house secure and well maintained. At the end of the assignment I will leave everything nice, tidy and clean for your return.

Before covid hit, I started pet sitting as a little experiment while on holiday from my job in the ACT Government, and then decided to give it a go as a temporary lifestyle. It gave me the opportunity to focus on my art while enjoying the healthy lifestyle and natural beauty of the Illawarra, Shoalhaven and South Coast. Then lockdown changed our lives for a while, but I'm back and ready for some new experiences.

During that time I looked after snuggly cats, had great fun taking dogs down to local off-leash beaches for a run, or even just an aged slow sniff-stroll. Chooks have been regular garden friends, along with fish, rabbits and birds both wild and tame.

What can say but wow and thank you Lisa! The house was cared for to perfection and we could not be happier. While we were away we had a pet emergency which Lisa handled like a pro, communication was awesome and most of all, Lisa's caring compassionate way with our sick pup was second to none. Nothing was a hassle even though our pup needed a follow up visit at the vet. Highly recommended Lisa for your house and pet sitting needs.

Lisa Joy was easy to talk to and communication while we were away was excellent. She came and met our dog a couple of times before we left. I was confident that our cat and place would be in good hands after meeting her. I was away for two months and she coped very well with all aspects of the household including having to delouse and mend the chicken coop. Joy house sat for us at very short notice for which we are eternally grateful Not only this, but she also went out of her way to offer our old and slightly fussy dog a healthy diet from which she benefited very much. Joy sat during a particularly trying bout of warm weather which i am sure posed a challenge as far as the garden went. I would recommend Joy as a housesitter for any interested parties and wish her well for the future.

Lisa-Joy looked after our house and our 2 cats, Pixie and Fudge, while we were away overseas for 10 days in November. I would highly recommend her as a house and pet sitter. My cats loved her and they were very well looked after. I would have no hesitation having Lisa-Joy back to house/pet sit. She is very easy to communicate with.
