We are a happy active couple who enjoy the outdoors and life in general. We have lived in southern Tasmania most of our lives and have owned our own homes in the city and had a small acreage where we bred chooks raised sheep and agisted horses . We lived on our boat for eighteen months before retiring to lead the grey nomad way of life. We enjoy visiting new areas and meeting people who live there. Because we are full time travellers we don't have pets and miss a furry companion. Over the years we have owned dogs,cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs and water fowl. We are genuine animal loving reliable people and would be delighted to do whatever is needed to keep your pets happy in your absence. We are capable of doing most maintenance work including gardening, pool cleaning and house cleaning. We are trustworthy and responsible, are non smokers, social drinkers and have current police checks and references . We will make sure whilst you are away that your pets will be in a routine they are accustomed to and you can relax knowing that we will respect your home as if it were our own. Gerry and Pam were awesome house sitters! The house was like no had been there left exactly as we left it. Jack and Jill told Butch and I how much fun they had with Gerry and Pam and how they have never played for that long in one game. Seriously, really lovely people and would love them again to sit ! Gerry and Pam looked after dogs like their own. Our house and gardens were maintained extremely well. The house was very clean and everything was looked after. Gerry and Pam looked after our house and pets for 6 weeks while we were overseas. Leading up to it I was so anxious as we had never been away that long before. Our 2 dogs are much loved and our American Staffy came with some added responsibility being a council regulated dog after having bit another dog a few years ago. We lost our 18yo cat earlier in the year through neglect of the sitter. She died from dehydration which didn’t help my concern.

Pam and Gerry looked after our house and garden with great care. They carried out tasks in the garden and pool to ensure that all was well on our return. The house and garden were in excellent condition when we arrived home from holiday. Our cat was equally well looked after.

Gerry and Pam are 5 star house sitters with good communication while we were away . Returning to a house cleaner than we left it , a lawn mown and garden beds tidy . What a joy to not worry about anything while getting over jet lag. In addition Gerry picked us up from the airport early morning. Pam and Gerry were great sitters who communicated well. The house was spotless on our return and the lawn was even done, which we had not expected. Gerry and his wife are fantastic House Sitters. They took great care with our house and garden and everything was immaculate when we got home. Our pets were well looked after and we would definitely have them house-sit again.

We confirmed Gerard & Pam for housesit but unforeseen circumstances due to covid and a health accident to my husband caused us to cancel holiday last minute. We were all very disappointed but hope to engage Gerard & Pam in the future. We definitely would recommend this couple.

Cannot speak highly enough of Gerry and Pam. They did a great job of looking after our house and two dogs and three horses while we were away. We would certainly be happy to have them house sit again for any future holidays
Gerry and Pam were the ideal house-sitters. They arrived as we were in a rush to get going on our trip, but they took all of our instructions in their stride. While we were away, we spoke twice on the phone briefly, and were really confident everything was under control. After we got back, we had a really enjoyable evening together, the house was in perfect condition (except for a stray butterknife which was sneakily hiding in our cutlery drawer!), and our dogs hadn't even noticed we had left!

Gerry & Pam did an outstanding job of looking after our house, garden, pets & farm. They were great at keeping in contact while we were away. Everything looked fabulous when we got home - we were very sad to see them leave. Would welcome them back anytime.

Nice enough people but I don't think they know a lot about big dogs other sitters don't have a problem with my animals or the house considering it cost nothing
Gerard and Pam are excellent, totally reliable Housesitters who looked after our home, large gardens and our dog Ronnie for a week in June 2019. Everything was spic and span when we returned and Ronnie fully bonded with them. Pam walked him twice each day and he sulked when they left. You can leave your home and pets in their care with absolute confidence. Would have them back anytime.
Gerard & Jenny are fantastic house sitters. The house was left spotless on our return. The lawn was mowed, any maintenance issues were dealt with and the pets were well exercised and cared for. Recommend them highly for any house sit.

It was an absolute pleasure having Gerald and Pam house air for us, the animals appeared happy, The house was amazingly clean, they both went well beyond with the house sit, the neighbors loved them. Definitely will request again if possible.

The dogs bonded with them, and when one was a bit off colour, we were contacted immediately.
Our house and garden are large, and coming home to a flourishing garden, spotless house, and happy dogs, we just can't praise them enough.
We are already planning next years holiday around their movements .

Fantastic. We found them to be both friendly and dedicated leaving our property in excellent condition on our return. Highly recommend them.
Pam and Gerry looked after our fur n feather kids whilst we were away for a week. We found them to be warm, friendly and honest and we felt at ease leaving them to look after our home.
We have joeys on bottles and older roos n wallabies to be fed, pet cockatoos, chooks n roosters, moos and our dog Rocky and cat Sophia to be looked after. When we returned home our menagerie were all well fed and well cared for.

This was our first house sitting experience. I couldn't have asked for better sitters . How lovely to come to an absolute spotless home, my dogs were absolutely besotted with Pam and Gerry, so much they were more sad to see them go than to see us home . My neighbors said they walked the dogs not once but twice a day !!! I predicted our neurotic cat to make herself scarce during the stay but she was happy and content . I can't recommend Gerry and Pam more highly . They are welcome to stay ... MORE
Gerry and Pam are a lovely down to earth couple who were happy to fit in with our last minute plans due to an unfortunate family circumstance. We came home to happy animals and the dogs were clearly spoilt with exercise the house was also left in a tidy and clean manner. We would happily have them sit for us in the future!

Thank you so much Pam and Gerry for looking after our home so beautifully! We highly recommend Pam and Gerry as housesitters. They arrived on time, were very respectful of our property when parking their camper van, and were kind and generous with their time. They even picked up the cow and horse manure and swept up the paddock, and washed the sheets!! none of that was expected of course, but what a lovely surprise...
