We are both retired and traveling around Australia in a caravan. We like to park in one place to visit the local area sights and day hiking trails. We are non-smokers who love animals, landscaping and the outdoors. We'd like a rural setting of 1 acre or more to accommodate our 18' caravan as we prefer not to park on the street.
We are also both homeowners so will respect your home as we do our homes.

Mel & Chris minded our property 10days while we were away....due to covid19 sit'n we welcomed them to stay on our return until ease of restrictions; have now been here for over 2 months; they are still feeding & caring for our daùghters 2horses while she is in Nth Qld for 12 mths. With Mel's knowledge& obvious repore with the horses, I trust her more than I do myself with their care. Almost daily updates on everything (there was a lot going on, I really appreciated it.) Intelligent, responsible, logical couple who work as a team and truly care about your property as if it were their own. I can't recommend them highly enough. They went way beyond expectations: Spraying my horses twice a day (they had Qld Itch), washing horse rugs and masks, giving my dog tablets and treating his unscheduled ear infection! Chris and Mel looked after our home and animals for 2 weeks and did a fantastic job! My wife and I came home to a house cleaner than we left it (it was spotless), the garden well cared for, quite a few gardening tasks had been completed. The animals were also well cared for (our dog Bella was spoiled with 3 walks a day!). I would strongly recommend having Chris and Mel as house sitters. Wow!! What a amazing experience and perfect house sitters Chris and Melinda are. I have two dogs of which both can be high maintenance due to their background. Both dogs were looked after extremely well with their diets, and walks twice daily. The house was clean with some house jobs done that assists me with the renovations that are currently taking place.
