We've retired, sold our family home of 30 years (Gold Coast) and bought a Motorhome to explore.

We are now very experienced housesitters with many reviews, all 5 star. ( see reviews on this site and attached screen shots from other sites). We're also very experienced at maintaining a family home and caring for pets....dogs, chooks, birds and goats.

We're pretty easy going and relaxed but also caring, responsible and respectful people.
We've been actively involved with many community organisations on the Gold Coast including 20+ years in Broadbeach Surf Club, almost 30 years singing with The Blenders chorus.

We have two independent uni educated children.
Our family loved our Mini Schnauzer "Comet" for 13 years. We also had chooks as pets when the kids were growing up.

Barry surfs a longboard most days and is very handy around the house (ex tradie).
Chris loves Astronomy and Space Exploration and was registered with NASA for 12 years as a volunteer educator running school astronomy nights.
We have personal references and blue card/police checks.

Chris and Barry were the best . Our dog Banjo immediately bonded with them as they were very similar to my husband and I so he didn't miss us at all! He was extremely healthy and fit on our return . We really can't recommend Chris and Barry highly enough - the house was immaculate with even some home made treats in the freezer for us to enjoy which was such a thoughtful touch. I would highly recommend Chris and Barry. Our dog, Maisie, was looked after perfectly and was happy and content on our return. Communication was spot on with regular photos and messages. Our house was beautifully clean, cleaner than when we left and the pot plants, garden and lawn were impeccable. They even left us some home cooked soup and goodies. We really can’t thank them enough and would, without doubt, ask them to sit for us again.
