There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
24, Admin Clerk/Student
Hi there, I'm a newly graduated student from the UK working in hospital administration from the East Kimberley, WA. I have lengthy experience in house sitting, having found a reliable home during the course of my studies over a period of 2 years. Rachel and James Harris (who's reference details I can provide) were kind enough to trust me with caring for their cats, dogs and stately home while they travelled abroad in Africa intermittently.
Since then I have moved to WA semi-permanently for work. I have three long term house-sit commitments between now and Febuary 2018, when I will be looking to start exploring the rest of Australia! I have no particular preferences as to where I end up, so long as I can feel secure in a long-term house-sit as I move to a new neighbourhood.
(Update: I have completed 3 long-term house sits in Kununurra through October-February last year and the beginning of this year. As they were arranged privately I am more than happy to provide the contact details for both families on request for references. During these sits the care and responsibility of dogs, cats, chooks & fish were included.)
I'm extremely tidy minded, conscious of being a respectful and neighbourly resident, and I understand the responsibilities involved in caring for a families beloved animals. Nothing is too much to ask. I also have experience in horse-care and small farm animals such as ducks, chooks and goats. Rodents and reptiles are also not a problem.
Finally I am a non-smoker and an early morning bird, I rarely stay up later than 8:30 so I should think neighbours will have no complaints!
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
