I'm an environmental engineer working for a Sydney consulting company in North Sydney. I started housesitting early 2021 to get to know different Sydney suburbs better and to help people take their long-awaited holidays while saving us both money. I've loved the company of all the pets I've met along the way.
I have now housesat across Australia, including Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Tasmania and Queensland.
I don't smoke, am known for keeping a tidy house and I'm used to being around animals. Leave me the watering instructions for your indoor and outdoor plants and I'm onto it. I'm happy to send frequent photos to show you how your pets are doing. I have a recent police check.
Kate was easy to communicate with and was good at sending updates on Nina while I was away. She left the apartment clean and tidy. I will certainly be happy to book her again and recommend her.
Kate was a lovely sitter - very happy to be sat on by our cat, and communicated with us regularly with photos and videos. We would be very happy to have her again.
Kate was an absolute joy to have as a housesitter. A very neat and tidy person, she kept the house and garden immaculate going beyond what was asked in trimming the plants. She met my doggo, Leah, and boy did they hit it off. Kate would seemingly he massaging Leah whilst chatting with me. Clearly an animal lover. Kate is very organised, friendly and easygoing and above all, a class person. I highly recommend her and i'd definitely welcome her to house sit again.
We couldn't have wished for a better first Aussie House sitters experience with Kate! Her communication even before her arrival was so prompt and reassuring, we weren't going to meet in person before her stay so we had a lovely Zoom call where she had lots of good caring questions to be sure she took the best care of Baby and Cohen. Kate is clearly an animal lover and took amazing care of our cat harmony for 2x weeks while we were on vacation. Kate graciously managed while significant renovations were going on downstairs and was completely reliable, flexible and loving to Harmony sharing pics and comms during her stay. I would highly recommend Kate for any house sit and would definitely have her stay again

Kate was an excellent house sitter - very reliable and good communicator. She was very happy to catch up for a coffee to do a meet and greet prior to having her stay. She did a great job following the house checklist, making sure our fussy cat was well looked after. She was super friendly and regularly provided updates on our fur baby and the house. Would be very happy to have her back again!
When you are going away for an extended period and you have animals (which have some special needs), it is very nerve wracking. Kate kept me informed, sent me photos and updates and did a fabulous job of keeping the household running. I returned to calm animals and a well maintained household. Trust is such an important thing. Kate can housesit for me anytime!
Kate was a great house-sitter. She was super flexible as our travel plans kept changing due to factors out of our control, she stayed in contact and was super responsive, and she did an awesome job looking after Benny, Bjorn and the house. Would highly recommend her!
My delayed departure meant that Kate had to share the sitting time with me. I greatly appreciated her flexibility, accomodating me being there, but always showing that Tilly, my dog, needed her walks and got them.

Kate looked after my unit and Lucy for a week.
She was great at keeping me informed pre and post arrival with uncertainty around borders.
When I arrived home the house was spotless and clearly had been looked after.
Lucy was happy healthy and still had plentt of food and water out.

Kate looked after our home and little garden very well, and she was very good cat sitter as well. Our cats enjoyed having her look after them while we were away. We highly recommend Kate if you need a house sitter. She is trustworthy and very reliable.
This was our first time using a sitter and the first time we have left all of our cats.
Kate & her mum stayed for two nights at short notice and looked after four cats, two guinea pigs, fish & our plants.
They left the house very clean & tidy, I couldn't really tell anyone had been in it. My plants looked well & healthy.

Kate stayed to look after my elderly cats. Her mum joined as she was visiting from Cairns. Thank you so much, Kate, for taking such exceptional care of Saturn and Venus, and for seeing to it that Venus' new medication was so well administered. I would highly recommend Kate.
Kate was wonderful. Maui was happy and content which for a dog with anxiety is a major achievement.
She was very communicative and sent me lots of pictures and left our house nice and clean and tidy.

Kate was a breeze to communicate with and kept us really up to date. Our house was absolutely immaculate when we came home and our Cinder was one happy kitty.
