Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

In 2020 I returned to live at the Sunshine Coast after a decade looking after my elderly Mum in Brisbane. I am now ready to get out and explore this beautiful country once again. Previous house sitting experience led me all over mainland Australia and I am looking forward to the opportunity that house sitting provides, to meet new people and forge new friendships with home owners and their furry family members.

I understand that engaging a house sitter requires a leap of faith, particularly for first timers. My goal is to enable you to enjoy your time away, confident in the knowledge that your home and pets are receiving the same high standard of care and love, that you yourself would provide.

In the past I have been granted the privilege of caring for dogs, cats, fish and birds. I'm fit, healthy and capable of providing lawn and garden maintenance. As I had a pool at my own home in Brisbane, I also have some experience with pool care. I would prefer to have 2 or less pets to care for as this would allow ample time for me to generously lavish my new furry friends with cuddles and care.

I believe my most valuable asset is that I possess a considerable degree of common sense and I am not inclined to panic in challenging situations. In my experience, panic never helps. I enjoy a very occasional glass of wine and have never smoked. Partying is not part of my lifestyle.

My work history includes clerical and technical positions with Brisbane City Council, Maroochy Shire Council and Telecom Australia. I have been retired for some years.

In 2024 I would be interested in:

Darwin NT between June and August. I would consider any duration from 2 to 6 weeks. I expect to fly in and won't have my car so I would love to be located close to Darwin City Centre, please.

Coastal Sydney or NSW South Coast in November to February.

We have just arrived home after six weeks away. House is in perfect order, garden well maintained...and our little dog Eddie has been looked after , walked and obviously well fed ...happy to see us and sad to see Ann leave Ann was great at letting us know if Eddie was out of sorts and sorted maintenance out on the house when needed without any fuss. Would highly recommend Ann as a reliable and honest housesitter ...would love to have her back again ....thankyou Ann

Ann looked after Rosie and the house for a week. We came home to a very happy dog and a clean house and thriving garden. Ann was a great communicator and I would welcome her back anytime. Thank you Ann

We were so happy that Ann chose our home to look after and to care for our cat (Max). We knew that Max would be in good care while we were away, we could relax and enjoy our holiday. Our home was nice and clean when we returned home and Max was happy, what more could we ask for!! Ann even went that extra mile and made sure there was fresh milk and bread for us, so we didn't have to rush to the grocery store after a long overnight flight, such a bonus. Ann looked after our chickens for 3 weeks. She did a super job. She took great care of the house and the chooks, and was always responsive to any questions we had while away. The house was spotless when we got home. I highly recommend Ann as a house sitter.
