Caring, polite and reliable husband and wife team who have owned our own homes and so fully appreciate the expectations of house proud owners. We are kind and thoughtful animal lovers who have cared for numerous animals - our own and others - and to date have looked after dogs, cats, chickens, alpacas, sheep, cattle, horses, turtles, rabbits, cockatiels (and other birds) and fish. In 2017 we found ourselves back in Australia after 5 years overseas (UAE and Sri Lanka) and began housesitting as an interim thing and because we are keen travellers. We absolutely loved it and have now been housesitting for 4 years; 50 sits in 4 states. As experienced sitters, we're familiar with the operation of all types of pools, spas, gardening equipment and white goods so you can feel reassured that your pets and property will be loved and maintained in exactly the same way you do. We are also very fit walkers, so no matter how energetic the pet, we have the energy! At least twice a day is our norm for those dogs who are keen and up to it, and most are. The best thing about housesitting is the wonderful connections we make with many of the pets in our charge and often tears are shed on departure, especially on the longer sits. We are certain our girls are still missing them. Our 2 horses were fed twice daily & even though not a requirement were groomed and manure picked up. Our property was maintained brilliantly including our pool.
Communication was excellent, with regular email updates and pictures. I am currently in the process of ... Our two precious pussycats adored them (we saw daily photos of the attention they gave and received). Our garden and pool were meticulously maintained (and improved) and our home so clean and tidy on our return, it was a joy to be home. We didn't want them to leave because apart from everything, they are just great company.
A truly wonderful couple!! We cannot thank them enough and will hotly pursue them when the next overseas holiday comes around. I know we will think ourselves very lucky if we get them.

They looked after our dog Kilty and 3 chickens for 2 weeks.
We received a daily photo of Kilty and an update as to what she had got up to. They took Kilty for daily 1 - 2 hour walks which was just amazing.
One of our chickens got a bit ill during this time but Fiona is an expert and sorted it out.
We came home to a beautiful clean and tidy house too.

Mostly for us they were technology savvy - communicating regularly prior to and during the sit via WhatsApp and this site. Negotiating our (simple) but for some challenging security system was first nature. Our cat Machiato was totally indulged but relished the experience. They approached all aspects of the sit wth common sense and a down to earth ... MORECam and Fiona spent nearly 3 weeks in our house looking after the house, garden and sometimes demanding cat! Cam & Fiona kindly house-sat for us, also minding our dog, cat and chooks. They treated our home with respect - as if it were their own, and left it in the same condition they found it. HarveyHighly recommend them!

Cam and Fiona were fantastic in looking after our very old dog. Even the neighbours commented on how they were out every day, sometimes twice a day walking him - in rain or shine. The house was well looked after as well. Would highly recommend Cam and Fiona for house sitting.

Cam and Fiona were incredible Housesitters who brought love and kindness to our ailing border collie and left the house in pristine condition despite wild storms and torrential rains. We felt touched by their kindnesses and commitment to our dog, showering her with affection, administering medication, grooming her and soothing her through the thunder and lightening.
