Hey there! I'm Gemma. I'm a writer/communications manager and work from home. I love taking care of people, plants and animals - and now that I work remotely - I have more time to do this!

I have been house sitting across Australia for over two years, and have experience looking after dogs, cats, snakes, fish and chickens, as well as gardens, vege patches and pools.

I signed up to house sit at the start of 2022 so I can see more of this beautiful continent while still working, and at the same time help out those who need someone to look after their homes and pets while they're on their own adventures.

I grew up in a small coastal town on the Mid North Coast of NSW, surrounded with pets and plants from a young age. My Nan is an avid gardner so I've learned a thing or two from her. I have experience as a Support Worker for NDIS, Learning Support Officer in a high school, and as an Au Pair caring for two young children and a cat in Milan, Italy.

I am extremely neat, tidy and organised and will treat your home with the utmost respect.

We can't thank Gemma enough for the care and attention she gave to our two dogs. One only being 14 months old (rather a challenge) and the other 11 years old. Gemma has a calmness around her., We knew when we met her that we were leaving our home in good hands. With out asking she used her initiative to mow the lawn! House was so clean and neat. Plants all thriving (even with 40-degree heat) Gemma is a very special human and we were so grateful she agreed to house sit for us.

Gemma, was great. She looked after our home, our dog and cat (that can both be quite needy) also our plants and pool were kept clean and green. Our home was handed back neat clean and tidy and the fur babies we very content and happy. Thanks Gemma we really appreciated your house sit.

Gemma house and pet sit for us for 3 weeks while we went overseas. We received updates and photos from Gemma which was great. She left our house clean, took the bins out and washed and hung the bedding out. Would be happy for Gemma to stay again and look after our house and Archie.
