Due to all the Covid restrictions I abandoned my travels a year ago and returned to my home in North Queensland. I am now ready to head south again then eventually onto WA.
During previous house sits I have cared for many different breeds of dogs and cats some with health issues like diabetes, deafness and age related issues. Have also cared for horses, cattle, birds, poultry etc nothing so far has fased me.
I am a very easy going, young minded, active, capable 62 year old, used to living alone on acreage coping with pumps, bores, tanks and operating ride-on mowers.
Being a responsible home owner for the past 35 years I will take great pride in caring for your home and gardens as I have my own. If you think I would be a good match to your needs, I look forward to hearing from you.
Lynn is a very friendly, professional, and reliable housesitter. Lynn was easy to contact and provided updates and information as needed throughout the housesit. She did everything that was asked of her and looked after all our pets and home to a high standard. Lynn, Peter and Rosie looked after our girls and home for a period of 16 days. While we were away, we had a stream of text messages reporting on the girls, which was very comforting for us, and made our holiday even more relaxing knowing that all was well. We came home to happy, and definitely well looked after dogs and the house was extremely neat and tidy. Lynn was absolutely wonderful. We came home to find happy, well cared for pets and the house was sparkling clean. She kept in contact with us throughout our time away to update (only when she thought it was necessary) and even made friends with our lovely neighbours. We were most grateful for her generosity and kindness - she even left us a box of chocolates for Easter! I highly recommend Lynn to other housesitting hosts. Thank you Lynn!!
Lynn looked after our house and pets for 2 weeks in March 2019. We had a number of instructions for her in regards to our animals (rabbits, chooks and diabetic cat). Lynn did everything we asked of her and more. Our gardens & vegie patch were well cared for and on our return the house was spotless and the animals were all happy & well. Lynn was very easy to communicate with and we would be more than happy if she was able to come and House/Pet sit for us again.
Lynn looked after our house and chooks for 2 weeks . Throughout Lynn was so easy to deal with, great communications and very up front and open about her plans. To say Lynn looked after the house doesn't do justice to how we found the house on return. It was immaculate. Thank you Lynn we would be delighted to have you mind our house again.
lynn is a wonder! even though there are quite a few instructions and chores to do at my place she was enthusiastic and more importantly competent. lynn listens, asks useful questions and gets the job done- no fuss. she looked after my house better than me! she also connected and monitored the animals- which is everything we ask! I am genuinely hopeful that lynn will come back to our place.
Lynn was a very reliable housesitter who took great care of our home and animals whilst we were overseas. The house was left in a very clean condition and the animals had obviously been well cared for. Communication was excellent and Lynn sent photos and updates during our trip.
