We are a mature aged couple who have travelled extensively, both overseas and interstate and we are now looking to explore our own state in more depth. We are available to sit your property and care for your pets.
I, Heather, have recently be involved with Pawshakes.com.au to care for pets, and we have just finished looking after an Australian Assistance Labrador pup.
We have owned our house for 30 years, and would look after your property with the same care as we give our own.
I, Heather, have been a qualified librarian for 20 years with NSW DET. and also in charge of a private library.
We are now a semi-retired couple having run a small engineering drafting business..
Peter has engineering qualifications which makes him a capable handyman.
We are non-smokers and although we love pets we do not have our own as we travel so often and therefore will be able to give yours all our attention.
We are both fully vaccinated for covid, and have both had the booster vaccine.

Heather and Peter were just lovely - easy to communicate with, and really great with our much loved beagles. This was our first time using house sitters and I felt a little unsure - but felt quite reassured after speaking with Heather and Peter. Def recommend this lovely couple.
Heather and Peter did a great job looking after our two large dogs. They obviously cared well for them, sent updates and even located a tick on our Golden which they notified us of. Our house was left immaculate and we would be more than happy to recommend Heather & Peter to anyone looking for honest and reliable house sitters. Heather and Peter were great house/dog sitters. They were very communicative and made sure in advance they knew the requirements for the dogs and the house set up, so there were no issues during the stay, including checking back in with me after one of our dogs was ill before their stay. They texted during their stay to confirm all was going well. The dogs looked very relaxed and happy when we returned. Would recommend and use again.
We met Heather and Peter for morning tea prior to them house sitting for us. After this meeting we felt more than comfortable to let them look after our property and animals. During our break they sent photos of Millie and Izzie to let us know that everything was going well.
On our return we found the house as clean as we left it and the animals well cared for.

Heather and Peter house and pet sat for me here in Berry. The pets were relaxed, well cared for and happy on my return and the house was cleaner than when I left. I've no hesitation recommending them to you as housesitters.

Heather & Peter were wonderful! They communicated with us regularly to let us know how Rocky was doing. I'm sure Rocky enjoyed their company! Heather and Peter were just so fantastic. Our animals and home were so well cared for and we were able to relax knowing they were in good hands. Heather and Peter are a lovely couple who looked after Kirby, the puppy Yoshi and Tiger the cat.
They arrived on time for a hand over and on our return the house was very clean and tidy, not an easy task when there's furry animals and a puppy around. The dogs were well and happy and had had a good walk in the morning and Tiger was his normal vocal self. Heather left a lovely note and I hope they will come and house sit again in the future.
Heather and Peter did a great job looking after our dog Strike. The house was clean and tidy when we returned and Strike looked like he was well walked and had a ball!

Recently Heather and Peter house sat for us and looked after our 2 staffies (20 months and 6 years).
Heather kept me updated on the dogs which was appreciated.
On return the dogs were happy and the house was neat and tidy just as we'd left it.

Heather was very accommodating to our requests to help sit (and keep up training) of our strong willed puppy Labrador. We met them ahead of the sit and they made lots of effort and our pup liked them lots.
There were no issues or questions, Heather was super competent and confident and we came home to a happy Lab and safe home.

I highly recommend Heather & Peter for house sitting. They left our house in excellent condition. They also sent us regular updates and photos of our dog Boris and walked him twice a day, which he absolutely loved! I would not hesitate to use them again next time we go on holidays. Heather and Peter just looked after our house and two beagles for four nights and we couldn't be happier with their house sit. The house was left really clean and tidy, the dogs were very happy and they sent us updates when we asked how the dogs were going. Highly Recommend!
Heather and Peter looked after our dog and house for a week. They took great care of our dog, taking her for regular walks every day. And they left the house spotless.
