We are a couple in our late 40's who work from home part-time (Remotely). This allows us the most precious thing in the world for us and for your pets: TIME with them. He is an IT Project manager, and She is a Chef, so that means a shiny sparkling clean house.
We have sat 5 years+ in New Zealand, and in Australia back to back since April 2023 . We have cared for more than 20 houses from as north as Arlie Beach to as south as Melbourne.. (30+ reviews available! ). We have cared for dogs (all sizes!), cats, fish, horses, cows, rabbits, lizards, alpacas, ducks, chooks, geese and many others! Small houses, large houses, not a problem. We adapt very easily.
We have now returned to the Northern Rivers (Ballina/Byron/Brunswick) area as we intend to explore it a bit longer before making the decision of permanently relocating here. (Yes, you will be able to count with us if you have recurring sitting needs in that area)
If you allow us to house sit for you, you'll have a very. settle, down to earth and clean/tidy couple taking care of your home. We will keep you updated with videos and photos and keep the property tidy. We take pride in the time we spend with the pets and the affection and time we provide them.

Can't recommend Hernan and Claudia enough! I loved what genuine good and kind hearted people they are. They looked after our fur baby Luna for three weeks and kept us up to date with photos and videos. Hernan has a great sense of humour and kept us entertained with brilliant videos on our holiday. We could tell Luna was spoilt as we watched her adventure with them, including harbour walks and very special treats! Claudia is very kind and I could tell Luna took to her immediately. They went ... Hernan and Claudia were great house sitters. We were very nervous heading away for 2 months and leaving our dog with strangers. From the start of the process, Hernan and Claudia made us feel very comfortable and it was an easy choice to have them sit for us.
The care and attention to Franks' (our Cavoodle) needs were excellent. Frank required some vet attention at one stage and communication with us while we were overseas was immediate and detailed and led to a great outcome.

Hernan came to mind our two cats recently (his wife was away). Hernan did a great job with the cats over the two week period. Hernan was very caring and understood cats which, was important as one cat (Misty) is elderly and more needy than usual given she also has a health condition 🧡 The other cat Cleo is very wary of visitors but eventually Hernan's patience paid off.

Hernan and Claudia did an amazing job with our house and 2 dogs Stella and Kai. From coming for a meet and greet the day before the sit and reading the dogs and taking them for a walk while I walked Claudia through the house. We knew they'd be great. Daily communication was fabulous.
Hernan did the last 2 days on his own after Claudia went back to NZ.
The place was left clean, tidy, linen in the machine and the dogs were happy when we got home.

Hernan and Claudia were absolutely perfect house sitters. Everything was perfect when we returned. Jack our rather large dog, was well looked after, and walked to his ability, as he has a sore leg.
They were very respectful, arrived on time, and maintained contact with us as required. it was lovely to return to our home and find it in such a clean and neat condition.

We have a very intelligent dog who hates to be away from me, but she was given so much attention, love and exercise that she quickly forgot about me! Andie loved them both. The house was immaculate when we returned and they were fantastic communicators, posting pictures of Andie nearly every day and telling us of their daily exploits. Their patience and care of Pixie was more than I asked for, taking the time to gain her trust and provided me with regular updates. I returned to well watered shrubs and potted plants, and a flourishing vegetable garden. The cottage was left very clean and tidy.
