My partner Helen (49) and I (42) are an animal-loving, responsible couple, non-smokers. We are both cancer researchers and moved from Europe to Australia almost ten years ago to perform research into childhood cancer. We have just become proud Ozzie citizens :-). We LOVE animals. We had pets while living in Europe (rescue cats, dogs (Jack Russell, Airedale Terrier), rabbits) so we are used to having and taking care of animals. Helen has a lot of experience with rescue cats that had a rough start to life, and she has a lot of patience with animals that have trust issues. We have been pet sitting for over five years and this has given us ample experience with senior and deaf cats, packs of high-energy dogs and pets that suffer from anxiety/stress/OCD. We also took Petcloud's certified Pet Sitter Course (developed in collaboration with RSPCA, certificate in our attachments). I work full-time from home and am thus able to give your pets all the love and attention they deserve. We both enjoy swimming, going for walks and standup paddle boarding and would be happy to take your dogs with us (only if you would feel comfortable with that of course). We both like (NEED) to live in a clean house so we will definitely take good care of yours.

Police checks (NPC), the certificate for the Petcloud's certified Pet Minding Course and references (including Petcloud references) are added to our profile and are available upon request. References can also be found on our MindAHome, Pawshake and PetCloud accounts. We have liability insurance for pet sitting.

I can't acknowledge Klaartje and Helen enough for a brilliant house and dog sit. The love and care they took was exceptional and the communication exceptional, the result brilliant. It felt like I had my best friends looking after my home and doggy best friend. Our dog is sensitive and has past trauma, and the love, care and consideration was exceptional. Returning to a brilliantly clean and loved home was spectacular. So truly grateful to this beautiful couple. Thank you!!!

Klaartje and Helen were absolutely amazing pet sitters, and we couldn't be more thankful that they were looking after our two cats and house while we travelled for 3.5 months.
