We're friendly, reliable, animal-loving professionals. We provide house and/or pet sitting services allowing you full peace of mind while you're away from home knowing that your home and pets are in safe hands and getting lots of love and cuddles!
We're both non-smokers, we enjoy spending time out and about exploring and also enjoy lounging on the sofa with a good read/movie. House sitting allows us to hang out with lots of cool animals and experience living in all of the different areas in Sydney. We're very clean, tidy, friendly and responsible; all the things you'd want from a house sitter!
Gem - I'm a P&C Lead working for a media agency based in Chippendale. I love food - both eating it and cooking it so any local hidden gems you can tell us about would be much appreciated!
Matt - I'm a Civil Engineer, when I'm not at work I enjoy going on adventures, these mostly involve climbing or skateboarding.
We have excellent references and we also have profiles on other sites where we have received endorsements and completed ID checks.

Gemma and Matt looked after our house and cat for 6 weeks and looked after everything so we could relax on our holiday. We returned home to an impeccably clean and organised house. They were fantastic communicators and so easy to deal with on all levels. We were so lucky to have them as our house sitters! Highly recommend Gemma and Matt, and hope to have them back again!!
Great house & pet sitting experience with Gemma and Matt! Regular updates on our Rafa and we came home to an apartment 10 times cleaner than we left it!
This is the second time we’ve been lucky enough to have Gemma and Matt look after our home and dog Muffin.
Of course they were outstanding again ! They kept in touch regularly with updates and photos of Muffin’s antics, and our home was immaculate when we returned.

We recently had the privilege of Gemma and Matt looking after our home and 13 year old dog Muffin for 11 days.
From the initial meet and greet, they were both exceptionally thorough, professional, friendly and easy going. Most importantly, Muffin loved them ! We received regular updates and were completely at ease having them in our home.
It was such a pleasure coming home to an immaculate home and one extremely happy pupper.

I can not recommend Gemma and Mathew enough. It was a very big thing for me to leave my dogs for 5 months for my long service leave. I was so lucky to find Gemma and Mathew on this website. They took care of my babies so well and sent me many photos and videos along the way. I could tell my dogs were very happy with them. They also took immaculate care of my home. I could not recommend Gemma and Matt enough, Maude was happy and content. The house was spotless, I am so grateful thank both.
I can highly recommend Gemma and Matt as house sitters. My home was perfectly clean upon my return and my cat was calm and content. We stayed in touch via what's app and I received regular images of my kitty and updates on the home front. I had to get a plumber in a few times, they were very accommodating on receiving the plumber and deliveries.I would definitely book them again.
Gem and Matt are fantastic cat and house sitters and I would 100% recommend them. They are a warm and friendly couple and looked after our Cat, Fern and house fabulously! They really cared for Fern as though she was their own and sent us regular updates. I would 100% recommend them and would love for them to look after Fern when we go away again. We highly recommend Gemma and Matt. They had a great energy when we all first met and we felt very comfortable leaving them to look after our dog, cat and home. We were sent photos and updates of their stay and when we returned our house was cleaner and tidier than before we left, it was immaculate. To top it all off our dog and cat were very content and clearly very well cared for and fed. We will definitely try to book them in for our next holiday.
Matt and Gemma were great carers for our three quirky cats for three weeks. They were very chilled when we returned (the cats, that is, hopefully Matt and Gemma, too). Matt and Gemma have been very flexible and easy to communicate with as our original travel plans changed due to COVID. We recommend them as reliable sitters.
Gemma and Matt were the perfect dog carers for our highly energetic kelpie. We came home after a month away to be greeted by a very happy, healthy dog and a very well cared for house and garden. A big thank you to Gemma and Matt.
Gemma and Matt did an amazing job looking after Pepper and Lyla. They gave us frequent updates on how they [Pepper and Lyla] were getting on and when we came back the house was spotless!! They even bought ear drops for Pepper and gave antibiotics to Lyla . They really are first class house sitters and we can't recommend them highly enough.
Gemma and Matt have cared for our house, garden and very fussy cat three times. They are reliable and responsible, taking great care of the house and plants.
They leave the house as they find it. They are sensible and able to deal with glitches, such as a malfunctioning house alarm.
Gemma was a great Housesitter and we would highly recommend her! Communication in the lead up was fantastic, and instantly felt like we could trust her without meeting her in person. Our house was left clean and animals were very content when we arrived home, Gemma sent us some photos while we were away of her having cuddles with them which definitely put our minds at rest.

Gemma cared for our beloved dog Cooper. She was warm, friendly and Cooper loved her from the get go! She sent us pictures of him out and about while we were away which was really lovely. We came back to a clean home and a happy dog. I highly recommend Gemma.
There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
