We are a recently retired active couple, non smoking, now on the Sunshine Coast, after living in Brisbane for over 25 years where we had a coffee shop.
We are both originally from farming backgrounds and have a wealth of experience with pets and farm animals.After our Old English Sheepdog passed away we did pet minding through TopDog Minding for 10 years where we received several service awards. Minding involved walking, playing, feeding, exercise and providing any medical requirements where necessary. The dogs varied from the small terriers up to the large Great Danes. It was important to provide lots of cuddles as this was a time when the owners were away and the pets can become unsettled.
We are also members of Trusted Housesitters and have completed over 33 sits since we started late 2018, all with 5 star reviews. Our sits have involved a variety of pets including dogs, cats , fish , horses , sheep and cows.
We believe we provide a quality and caring service and that your pets and house will be safe and cared for whilst you are away.
Debbie and Mark did a fabulous job of caring for our ragdoll cat-Dolly. They sent daily photographs and updates and ensured that we returned to a clean and tidy house! Our plants and vegetable gardens were well-watered and looking healthy. We loved having them housesit for us and will certainly try to book them in the future😊

Debbie & Mark left the house in an immuculate condition. We received lovely photos each day of Ruby, our dog & also photos of the birds & fish. It was great to the see photos while we were away. We would definately recommond & definately hope to have them sit for us again in the future.
Debbie and Mark are very professional house-sitters which was obvious from the moment we began our communications. We met twice before commencing the sit so they could meet Millie - she took to them immediately. I couldn't be happier with how they cared for Millie while I was away. We were thrilled that Mark could care for our house and pets again while we were away as we knew from previous experience that we could relax knowing that all was in very good hands. Our dog just loved his early morning beach walks and again in the afternoon and was probably wishing we stayed away longer! We returned to a very happy, fit pooch and an equally contented cat. Debbie and Mark communicated clearly before, during and after the sit. They were warm and caring towards our animals and home. The house was clean and cared for and our animals were stress free when we left and returned. Receiving the Live Photos each day were an added bonus along with a card and flowers on our table. We would definitely recommend them for your house sit and would welcome them back also.

Debbie and Mark were delightful house sitters. They looked after our cat, Fudge, and the house to perfection. They took time to get to know Fudge's quirks, were easy to get along with, and had great communication (with daily photos!). Mark and Debbie took great care of our house and two dogs. They were very responsive when we were setting up the sit, and were flexible when we needed to be away an extra day. Debbie and Mark were very easy to engage as house and dog sitters. They were very accommodating to my elderly dog's needs and took her special needs in their stride. They took great care of her and let me know how she was doing every day, along with a photo of their walks. The house was clean and tidy to come home to and they had even washed their sheets and remade the bed! I would happily have them sit Stellar again and would certainly recommend them to others.

Debbie and Mark looked after our house, garden and most importantly our Border Collies, Benson and Hamish for a week. Prior to the sit we had met and then communicated as needed.
We received daily updates and pictures of the dogs out on adventures which was much appreciated. On our return every thing in the house and garden was tip top- there were even some freshly baked cookies on the kitchen counter,

Debbie and Mark were great! They took great care of my fur babies and provided me with daily updates and pics. This was the first time leaving my dog Dexter and I felt quite anxious about leaving him Debbie and Mark helped put my worries at ease and made sure he got all the attention and walks he needed. After a last minute cancellation of an earlier house sitter, we contacted Mark who made plans to accommodate our house sit. Mark was an exceptional house sitter and took great care of our house and dogs. Poppy and Lawson received regular walks and plenty of attention, exactly what each of them enjoy. Debbie and Mark came to us as seasoned pet sitters who had mainly operated through other sites. After our long weekend away, we found them to fit right into the Aussie Housesitter mold.
One of our cats required simple medication. This was handled well. The house was left in a tidy state, bed linen drying on the line and a gift of herb plants found at the local market.
