Dear homeowners,

We have both successfully completed over 40 house sits across the Aussie House Sitters, Trusted House Sitters and Mind A Home websites. We have received 5 star reviews for all of these house sits.

We have looked after over 50 dogs, 20 cats, and numerous farm animals including chickens, pigs, sheep and one sit included 28 horses and 12 cows on 60 acres in the Upper Hunter Valley. We have loved each of our sits for different reasons. We usually look for sits for a minimum of 2 weeks, but we do consider shorter sits to fill in any gaps that we may have.

We retired from our professional careers in 2017 to enable us to travel. Ian is a qualified accountant and worked in the music and TV industries and Lloyd was employed as a General Manager for a large Australian manufacturer.

We are none smokers who are clean, reliable, punctual and we promise to look after your home as we would our own. You will return to a clean and tidy home and very happy pets.

The quality of house sitting by Ian and Lloyd was exceptional. Our 2 small dogs were comfortable with Ian and Lloyd from the start. Ian and Lloyd have the ability to read what the dogs needed to feel secure , which was essential as this was the first time we had left our dogs with other people. We were sent daily updates. We honestly could not have had a better experience than housesitting from Ian and Lloyd. We have a very challenging Dog that required several medications around the clock and particular care and so we were naturally worried about leaving him. Ian and Lloyd were fantastic. They took such good care of my little fur baby Sadie and went above and beyond. Sadie loved exploring with them and visiting all the coffee shops in the area on their walks. Communication was great and I loved getting regular updates from them on Sadie's adventures. Ian and Lloyd are the perfect housesitters. We felt completely at home with them on first meeting and we had regular communication about the pets during our time away. I think our mini-dachshund is missing their care and walks twice a day! On our return we found our house spotless and supplies in the fridge including a home-cooked quiche and slice. We required a house/pet sitter for a period of 7 weeks and we really hit the jackpot with Ian and Lloyd. Ian and Lloyd sent us regular pictures and updates and handled everything that came up over the stay (including a broody hen!).They say the best thing about going away is coming home and in this case that was so true, the house was immaculate, the pets were thriving and other personal touches were most appreciated after being away for so long. We highly recommend Ian & Lloyd as house/pet sitters. While away we received regular updates and photos of our Labrador Bronte's outings and happiness while we were away. She was exceptionally well looked after and she is now missing them. We arrived home to a clean house, mowed lawn and prepared dinner which was so nice after a long journey. We hope they may be able to come back another time when we are travelling but also hope to keep in touch anyway.

Ian and Lloyd were truly amazing house sitters. Our cat was looked after wonderfully and we were kept up to date with posts on Instagram and texts. We arrived home to a spotlessly clean house and breakfast in the fridge for the morning after getting home very late from an overseas trip. Where does one start. These guys are simply the best. We holidayed overseas for an entire month. During this time Ian and Lloyd kept us up to date via what's app with pics and blogs from their Instagram sight of our little dogs day. The pics were so appreciated not to mention entertaining. Great friendly guys, came around for dinner the night before we left to meet all the animals and the family which gave us huge peace of mind. Took great care of the house, garden and pets and sent us daily updates which was amazing and even had dinner waiting for us when we got back. Highly recommend Ian and Lloyd , apart from being super nice , friendly , clean and trustworthy , they looked after my 2 dogs , a Boston terrier and a bulldog really well . They took to Lucy from the moment they met her, and provided me with almost daily photos of her adventures [she seemed to be enjoying herself way too much, just saying!].
