David & Susan

Hi, we are a couple who have retired due to David's asthma. David has always been a farmer, and Susan in the social services field for many years. We live in a farming district of 192 people. We have done some house sitting before, and particularly enjoy farm sitting. We enjoy animals and the outdoors and growing food and living as sustainably as possible. David loves cycling and until his illness took hold, has pedaled his way from Adelaide to Darwin; Sydney to Perth; many places in between, and a few in Tassie. Susan broke her leg and almost chopped off her foot in a ladder fall several years ago, this has taken a toll on her body but she is still happy to take on most things. We have 7 children and 18 grandchildren, most of whom close by us, and 1 great grandchild almost ready to enter the world. Where practical, we do like to bring along one of our adult children and a couple of grandchildren to housesits.
We are non smokers/ non drinkers, and generally lead a fairly quiet life. We look forward to being a blessing, and being blessed by house sitting.
