We are a couple who in the last 12 years have driven our trusty VW and Nissan campers around four continents for up to six months a year. Plus train journeys taking in northern Asia and Europe.
When not on the road we head back to Bellingen, NSW Australia. Back to our chooks and dog.
We have just sold the Nissan and now, after a couple of months procrastinating, feel it time to get back visiting parts of our own and other countries. Tours and cruises are not our thing. House sitting would be an ideal arrangement for us.
We have always had dogs and the occasional cat. We love our hens and spend hours watching them potter around from our back verandah. There are fish in the pond below the house.
Joan is a retired nurse, I operated a tourist accommodation business for many years before we hit the road. Although not a builder, have built four houses here and in New Zealand.
