Hi, we are a middle aged, fit, non smoking British couple who own a home with a swimming pool and holiday cottage business in France.
We are Australian permanent residents so are able to spend the entire Southern hemisphere summers in Australia and then spend European summers at home in France.
We have been pet and house sitting in Australia each November to April since 2013 and have repeat customers & customers who are now friends from this site.
We have always been home owners and have impeccable standards for caring for houses. In France we own holiday cottages which we maintain and clean with care & attention. All of our referees can vouch for us giving the same standard of care to their homes .
We adore animals and have always had dogs until we lost our beloved springer spaniel at the age of 16. Because we are now without a pet we choose to look after yours and have excellent references from all of our house sits who have trusted us with their cats, birds, tiny dogs, huge dogs, cows & chooks!
We are very happy with any exercise regime and any size animal, we are confident we can care for any size or strength dog and as we both grew up in farm environments and owned horses, please contact us to ask us about your personal needs whilst you are away.
We have a 5 and a half acre home which we garden so intend to care for your gardens as if they were are own. We have a chlorine pool which we keep fanatically clean for our holiday cottage guests and will be happy to do the same for you.
Brian does not work in Australia so is always home to give your pets the company and cuddles you want. I only ever work part time in temporary contracts as a nurse but can be easily tempted into staying at home!
We base ourselves on the Gold Coast due to my work but can consider areas either side if we feel it is not too far for my work commute.

they loved sleeping in the bed with you both. Kerry thanks for the dog training you gave the boys what a difference it has made, Brian for their two walks a day and time at the dog park it's so wonderful to come home and see how happy they are. We hope your free to look after them again.
Kerry and Brian were fantastic. We felt comfortable knowing our cat and house were in very good hands, especially as our cat required medication. Communication was great - Kerry always responded promptly. The house was well cared for while we were away. It was nice returning to a clean and tidy house with watered plants and washed bed sheets and towels.
Short but sweet very happy with my sitters although a short sit made it very relaxing for us to enjoy a trip away for a family get together such a lovely couple took away any stress for us and our poodles were well looked after. Definitely would have them again.
Unfortunately, our regular pet/house sitters were unavailable to do a sit for us recently. It was our luck we came across Kerry and Brian, who were just fantastic. They looked after our very spoilt corgi as if she was their own and our house was immaculate when we arrived home.
Kerry and Brian are the most genuine people we have delt with and we would have no hesitation what so ever recommending them for any sit, be it house or pet, anyone requires.
Fortunately we found a house sitter at very short notice and for only a couple of days. Kerry and Brian were great. They were easy to communicate with and looked after things beautifully. I would recommend them to anyone looking for short or long term stays.

Disappointments-communication was very poor. Prior to arrival & for first 6-8wks of housesit, communication was good. Remainder of 6mth housesit, Kerry did not want to talk to me. Only wanted to communicate via messenger with a weekly photo/video of my dog. Kerry and Brian are clearly our favourite house sitters, everything is easy and professional. We have engaged them for 3 years now during the summer when they are in Australia. They are both energetic and love my boy Rusty and the house and garden are very well looked after. We highly recommend Kerry and Brian and will continue to do so into the future
