House Sitting in Queensland (QLD)

The northeastern state of Queensland is home to a variety of different cities and activities for house and pet sitters to check out.

The best place to go to for house and pet sitting opportunities in Queensland is in the capital city of Brisbane. This city is right along Moreton Bay. When house sitting in this area you should look visit Moreton Island outside of the city. This island is home to a large national park.

Brisbane is also home to Suncorp Stadium, a field that hosts a variety of sporting events including rugby league and rugby union events.

The northeastern city of Cairns is also a good option. Cairns is right near the Great Barrier Reef and is home to various scuba diving centres. For pet sitters the Cairns Marina is a popular spot for dog walking. This area can be affected by tropical cyclones in the summer though.

The Gold Coast is a great place to check out for house sitting thanks to the various different amusement parks in that area. These parks include the Dreamworld and Sea World parks. Don’t forget about the natural parks and beaches on the Gold Coast too.
