There are five different suburban areas to check out for house or pet sitting services in the Melbourne area. Here is a look at these places and attractions in these areas.

First there is the Inner City area. The Inner City area is popular among house sitters for its proximity to Hobsons Bay and its many beaches. The St. Kilda suburb is especially popular for its St. Kilda Festival in February while the Albert Park area is home to the Melbourne Formula 1 Grand Prix event during the Labour Day weekend when many house sitters are hired for their services.

Second there is the Northern area. This area features Darebin, which has many suburbs near the Preston Markets shopping area.

The Eastern area is popular among house sitters for being near many shopping centres. One of the most popular is the Westfield Doncaster centre in Doncaster.

The Southeastern section of Melbourne is located along the Western Port Bay and features the popular French and Phillip Islands. Many parks are especially popular for pet sitters for dog walking purposes including the French Island National Park.

Finally there is the Western area. More new and contemporary homes are being built for house sitters to work in thanks to the quick growth of such suburban areas as Wyndham, Melton and Hobsons Bay.
