I am fortunate to have retired early from my lifetime career (Project Manager - Civil Service) and now enjoying travelling and visiting my son who has moved to Sydney but still doing the things I enjoy – looking after pets and maintaining a home!
House-sitting has enabled me to extend my holidays, living like a local in new locations with the added bonus of a pet to keep me company.
During the last 5years I have house sat and have excellent references which I am happy to share with you. I have already sat twice in Australia (through another site) and am able to provide references from those hosts. I also regularly take care of different friends dogs.
Being a home owner and having renovated houses while raising a family (and the pets being part of that family) I am experienced in the necessary skills required in caring for a home, garden and various pets. I am a non-smokers, active, hold a clean driving licence and have always taken pride and pleasure in general gardening and home maintenance.
I offer house sitting on a totally reciprocal basis with no payment expected on either side. For the opportunity of staying in your home I promise to give love and care to your pets, security and upkeep of your house and provide you with updates throughout your absence should you wish (via texts/mail/webcam).
