After many years of caravanning we have now decided we would like to try something new.
John has worked in the emergency dept. at the Alfred Hospital for over 30 years on the front desk, and has also coached tennis over the last 40 years.
Jane, is very house proud and has helped John renovate 4 houses over the last 40 years and spends her spare time scrapbooking.
We are both serious dog lovers, and have had cats, birds, chooks and reptiles as pets ( and 2 children and 6 grandchildren )
We are also both NON SMOKERS
We can now add calves as we bottle feed some on a recent house sit.
Horses are now John's latest passion so he is riding regularly and he did a course on caring for them. A recent sit we did had four of them and ducks to look after.. When at home he volunteers every weekend at a horse property.
2019 was a short year for us as we ended up coming home earlier than planned as Jane injured her arm. After this year we can add chooks, cattle and Clydesdales.

John and Jane went above and beyond our expectations! We came home to an immaculately clean house with happy pets. Communication was excellent. John and Jane knew we were arriving home late from our holiday and kindly stocked our fridge with an easy to prepare meal for our dinner! Needless to say we were blown away! We would highly recommend John and Jane for anyone needing their home and pets to be well taken care of!
John and Jane looked after our rural property (80 acres) with 14 beef cattle, 8 Clydesdale horses, 9 chooks and a very old dog for 12 days while we were out of the country. One of the cows had a calf, needing veterinary assistance while we were gone. They did a wonderful job and we came home to several little "surprises" including a repaired kitchen screen door and polished fridge. Our old dog obviously adored them. We will hopefully be able to get them to house-sit again for us next year.
John and Jane did a fantastic job looking after our house, two dogs and our cat. John dropped us and picked us up from the airport and kept us updated with photos while we were away. The house was immaculate when we came home also. Two lovely people, highly recommended
My husband, Justin and I could not have been more impressed with our house sitters, John & Jane! They went above and beyond our expectations. Before leaving for Europe on our 4 week holiday they so kindly cooked us a beautiful roast dinner then dropped us off to the airport early the next morning. While we were away they kept in contact and sent us photos of our fur babies.

It was an absolute blessing to have John and Jane house sit for us for two weeks. They were warm and friendly, and instantly gave us confidence that they would care for our home and pets as if they were their own. We returned to a home that was beautifully clean and maintained, and John and Jane had even done some handiwork to put our outdoor table back into working order for us! Jane and John were so friendly, warm and open that within one afternoon we felt as if we had known them all our lives and were very comfortable to leave our furry family members and our home in their excellent care. On our return they had fixed broken items, cleaned our house to the point of gleaming, folded our mountains of washing and cooked us a beautiful home cooked meal complete with pre-dinner drinks and horderves. Absolutely lovely housesitters. Kind, considerate, respectful and clean. Wonderful with the animals. John and Jane have a real passion. Looked after my old property better than I do. Would highly recommend them. They are welcome back here anytime.

As soon as we met John and Jane we felt like we had known them for years. You will not find better house sitters than these 2 great people! We could not have been happier. Our big friendly German Shepherd had a ball while we were away and we were sent the photos to prove it during out trip- it was so great to see what he was up to. John and Jane were fantastic housesitters and lovely people to boot. They stayed at our house for three weeks and left the place in better condition than when we left! They took excellent care of our pets (dog, cats and fish), including walking and training the dog and cuddles with the cats.
