Hi,

We are a family of four who are exploring Australia. I am currently a stay at home Mum of 2 children, Archie aged 8 and Billie aged 5. I am home-schooling our children while we are travelling around Australia, so I am home the majority of the day. My husband, Tom, is a GP who will be undertaking telehealth work while we are travelling.

We are crazy animal people and love pets that come in every shape and size. We have previously had beautiful chocolate Labradors who were very much part of the family. They had their own doggy door to go outside if they wished, but they followed the family around the house or outside if we were playing in our yard. Sadly our old girl passed away late last year which is why we have decided to travel now. We all miss having a fur baby to snuggle on the couch or bed (depending on what you allow), so we would love a place with pets.

Our kids are extremely well behaved and are very thoughtful. Our family would treat your home with the utmost respect and will cater to any animal, gardening, etc. requirements you may have.

We own our own home in Hobart, which is currently being rented out, so we understand how it feels to have other people living in your home.

We couldn't have asked for better house & pet sitters than Emily, Tom and their gorgeous kids. The house was so clean & tidy when arriving home after a very long flight. Our dogs & cat were super happy to see us but they also seemed to be very relaxed which means they were treated like family by Emily & co. Emily's communication was exceptional and we received photos most days of the dogs going on long walks and playing in the park whilst the cat seemed very relaxed doing the normal cat things. ... When we returned home I said to my husband ‘has anyone even been here?’ Emily and family left the house spotless and everything taken care of. Emily sent photos of our dog through our stay and kept us updated the whole time. Super friendly family and would have them anytime! Thank you very much for taking care of our girl 😀

Wow, couldn’t be happier with Emily, Tom Billie and Archie. They looked after our hobby farm, fed the cows, managed the birth of new sheep and loved our pets just the way that we do. It was a big responsibility and they managed it with a relaxed and caring attitude. We loved the regular photo and video updates of out beloved dogs, cat, donkeys and chooks. Our labradors especially loved all of the attention from Archie and Billie. I was a bit nervous for the meeting because my dogs don't have a lot of experience with children, particularly my anxious Great Dane. We were so relaxed with Tom looking after our place and Roger! His communication was fantastic and gave us daily reports with photos. Roger was lucky to be taken on errands and coffee dates with Tom and seemed very happy and content when we returned home. Our house was neat and tidy on our return with details on how things were left. Easy to deal with and would recommend for a house and pet sit ☺️

From the very beginning, Emily and Tom have been excellent at communicating with us. As soon as they arrived in our home they were constantly letting us know how things were going. It was very clear that our dog (Nora) was looked after extremely well and she was loved by them all. Emily and her partner were excellent house sitters and I would take them again and again :) Great with communication and managed to send us updates just at the right time. I couldn't recommend Emily and Tom highly enough. The house was sparkling clean when we returned from our 3 week holiday. Our dogs were content and obviously very well walked. They also took great care of our chickens. Emily was lovely and sent through lots of pictures and videos of the animals and their daily adventures. She also really accommodating when we needed help. An amazing family who took all of the stress out of our first Aussie house sitting experience.
