Hello Pet Parents,

Update as at 5 May, 2024.
I am booked with pet-sits until 16th October. However, I am very interested in pet=sits after that date, ideally in Eastern Suburbs, Sydney or Bowral in the Southern Highlands, NSW.

Short history:
In March 23 I moved from Melbourne to Sydney so my preferred locations for pet/house sits are the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and in or near Bowral in the Southern Highlands. My availability for this year is now
only late July to mid-August during Winter or from 1st Nov onwards.

I've been a self-employed/sole trader for many years working as an Interior Decorator and an Artist. My hours are my own and I work from 'home', (on my laptop) therefore spending maximum time with your pets. I am in my early 60's, single, non-smoker and very experienced with many breeds of dogs and cats. I am often asked back for repeat sits which is great as I quickly become very, very fond of the pets I mind.

For most of the past 12 years I have been active on 2 other sites Happyhousesitters.com.au and TrustedHousesitters.com where you will also find my profile. However, I am finding that AussieH is the best of them. .
My usual MO, which has worked well over the years, is a phone or WhatsApp chat/video followed by meeting you and your pets in person.. When possible I'm happy to return to your home 1-2 days before your departure for a quick visit so the pets see me again. Also taking a walk together with your dog is ideal too.
