I can definitely recommend Dave for house and pet sitting, and will ask him to come again whenever I can! Our dog Evie is a large Rhodesian Ridgeback and was looked after beautifully. 2 months is a long time for our dog - usually its not more than 2 weeks, and she can often get stressed and stop eating. Not this time! We came back after 2 months to a healthy, relaxed and grounded dog, a lovely clean and neat house, and the garden looking great, freshly mowed lawn. Thanks once again Dave - very ... Dave stayed at our home for a week. He looked after our Border Collie, Jesse and cat, Taco. We were thrilled to receive photos of a VERY happy Jesse on his beach walks, and updates on mail that arrived and generally how the sit was going. The home was kept exactly as we had left it and he was an absolute gentleman. We would not hesitate to recommend Dave for any house sitting opportunities and we would certainly love to have him back at our home in the future.

Dave was fantastic. I have a suspicion Doberman who warmed to him immediately, which is unheard of. Unfortunately for Dave, Ziva had a minor lump removal procedure before I left that deteriorated. This meant he also had to deal with vet visits, medications, dressing changes and the dreaded cone. He did this all without question and looked after her beautifully.
He kept the place spotless, even mowing the lawns which took off after the flooding.

We came home to a sparkling house, and very well looked after cats and plants. Honestly, I think the plants were happier in his care than in mine!

Dave looked after our home and Jaydee for 7wks. Jaydee was very well cared for, her routine maintained and we were very relieved to see her so calm, happy and healthy upon our return. Our home was spotless and the pot plants, lawn and pool had been very well maintained as well. Dave was very respectful on all levels, his communication was great and we would be very happy to have him again on any future house sits.

Dave was excellent. As a very experienced sitter, he asked all the relevant questions prior to the sit, including some that I had overlooked. He quickly developed a rapport with my two blue cattle dogs, and they definitely missed him after his departure.

Upon meeting Dave before we left, we felt confident that we had made a good decision in choosing him as our house sitter. He communicated well with us while we were away and responded positively to our requests. We arrived home to find healthy, happy pets, a clean tidy house and garden, and he even mowed the grass! We were delighted with Dave's care of our dog, Sally, and our home. The house was spotless on our return, and Sally had obviously been very well looked after. We were able to meet Dave before the house sit and Sally took to him immediately. Communication was excellent and we would be delighted to have him back again.

Dave was an excellent house sitter. He made time to visit us before the sit to meet us and familiarise himself with the requirements of the sit. He was friendly and conscientious. He was also very flexible when our arrangements did not quite go to our original plan.
As we live on acreage there are a few things to watch for maintenance and Dave took this on board very well.

Dave looked after my pets, garden and house just like I do! I have birds, chooks and cats and all were healthy and relaxed when we got home. My elderly, fussy old cat was well and happy and got her meds regularly. I highly recommend him to others needing there houses and pets looked after.

Dave was a wonderful sitter for my old German Shepherd, Ace. He was so kind to my Ace and i think was more attentive to him than I usually am. Dave was very patient in trying to coax my dog into eating, which is a bit of a chore and took the time to try innovative ways. He and Ace had many extra walks to the local park, which wasn't expected and now Ace is expecting i'll be doing the same. I appreciated the updates of how things were going at home.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had him as our house sitter, he was amazing with communication and made us feel completely at ease about leaving our pets for 10 days. We received heaps of updates and photos of our 9 year old retriever having the time of her life while we were away. The house and pets were so well looked after that we would not hesitate to have Dave stay again. We have already told him that we hope he is available ... MOREWhere to start....
